An international finance summit required approximately 500 participants to follow finance-focused sessions in both English and Cantonese, ensuring delegates could access the session content in their preferred language.
Globibo provided Language Services through English <> Cantonese remote simultaneous interpretation for 2 sessions in August 2026. Finance-specialized interpreters delivered the interpretation remotely, supported by technical assistance and rehearsal management.
The setup included an audio interface, 2 laptops, the Zoom Interpretation Platform, cabling, and equipment transport, integrated with the client’s existing AV setup. Rather than providing 500 individual receivers, the solution enabled participants to access live translation through their own devices by scanning a QR Code. This reduced the need for additional interpretation hardware, venue space, an extra setup day, and the manpower required for setup and dismantling.
The remote interpretation and device-based access model met the client’s multilingual access requirement while providing a practical approach for a large participant group.
