One of the region’s most reputable tertiary education institutions required Indonesian-speaking international delegates to understand lectures and participate fully in a 5-day training program in Singapore.
Globibo provided Indonesian–English interpreting, interpretation equipment, and technical support for the education sector. The assignment covered 5 days and included 2 Indonesian–English interpreters.
The fixed interpretation setup comprised 1 interpreter cabin, 2 interpreter consoles, transmitters, and 30 receivers. Globibo also provided a crew for logistics, setup, dismantling, and operations. Installation took place during the preceding weekend, followed by several room reconfigurations throughout the week.
During afternoon visits to different locations in Singapore, the team deployed a mobile interpreting system with portable transmitters and receivers. A support engineer accompanied the visits and managed the mobile equipment. Combining fixed and mobile systems allowed interpretation to continue across classroom lectures and off-site activities.
