Globibo provided an event tech solution to a government entity in Singapore for 3 days. Globibo provided a digital conferencing solution – AI translation for AI captioning & translation (English to Vietnamese and vice versa), 35 Enterprise laptops, video mixer for several parallel venues, and audio control. Participants could access the AI translation via QR code on their phones, and multiple displays showed combinations of presentation material with AI-generated multi-lingual captions.

MANAGEMENT OF CHALLENGES
- The client had very specific ideas on how 4-5 input laptops would be combined into a single layout of screens. All of those 4-5 inputs had own dynamics on how the content progresses and the layouts of those combined inputs changed with different configurations to the display screens. A tremendous amount of pre-programming was required to create the right control panels for the actual program run.
- The AI quality was of high importance during several sessions to keep participants engaged in the conversation. The AI engineers worked throughout the sessions to further train the model to improve output throughout the session.

Setup Crews Due to the decentralized nature of the sessions, many parallel rooms required specific equipment that needed to be rearranged several times. The availability of the rooms was limited and teams had to work fast to get the systems ready.

Onsite Operators
Considering the complexity of combining 4-5 inputs into a single screen required dedicated video operators, which were split from staff that performed screen switching of all layouts. Due to the dynamic nature of the parallel events, several team members were responsible for any ad-hoc request from the large client team.

AI Engineers
The AI engineers combined general and custom models to improve the accuracy of AI transcriptions and translations - before and during the event
