With members from all around the world, it was very important to provide easy access to world-class language interpretation.
With the scale of participants and number of parallel locations, the preparation and onsite execution of interpreting hardware, mobile platforms as well as AI elements required a team with the right expertise and attitude.

MANAGEMENT OF CHALLENGES
- Integration: Considering the magnitude of the event, many other teams (related and unrelated to language interpreting) had requirements that needed to be incorporated into the execution.
- Wifi network: As all participants had access to language interpreting only via their mobile phones, the wifi network had to be scaled for thousands of parallel users in very small spaces
- Logistics: Due to the unavailability of specific technical equipment at the location, many technical elements had to be imported from various locations.

Infrastructure Due to the decentralized nature of the sessions, many parallel rooms required specific equipment that needed to be consolidated from different markets. The team managed all preparation and onsite setup/operations.

Mobile Platform
The mobile platform required specific software features and layouts, based on a scalable architecture. The server and application architecture was established already, but customizations were needed for the specific target groups.

AI Technology
The AI engineers combined general and custom models to improve the accuracy of AI transcriptions and translations - before and during the event.
