Interpreting:

The booth were set up and supported from 3 sub-teams in the 3 halls
The device collection counter was supported by an own team of around 20 staff to manage the volume of 3500 participants

Access Control

The integrated system provide a highly responsive validation of the participants badge as well as live analytics of room/session utilization

Mobile app

Each room/session that utilized the app for Voting & Q&A had a support team for the Moderator
A backend team monitored the server performance/response time as well as any data-entry update requests

We catered to 20,000 diverse participants across 10 conference tracks and exhibitions, ensuring an engaging experience for all the participants. Booth setup supported by 3 sub-teams across 3 halls. Device counter managed by own team of 20 staff for 3500 participants.

International Labor Organization, Ministry of Manpower Singapore, and International Social Security Association jointly organized the XXI World Congress on Safety and Health

4-days event had around 20,000 participants, from prime ministers to students.

CHALLENGES

The show caller had several issues with the actual program and had to delay participants’ entry into the rooms. This creates big emotional and safety pressure on the access control marshalls
In some rooms, the participants were not informed to collect the interpretation receiver. Large crowds had to rush to collection counters when the session started to collect their devices

MANAGEMENT OF CHALLENGES

The corresponding technical leads for the roles have long experience in their corresponding functions. The right staffing and training of all full-time and temporary staff allowed them to flexibility adjust to the circumstances

Globibo facilitated a large-scale event with interpreting, a mobile app, and access control management. Witnessing the successful execution and participant engagement filled the project team with pride. A journey from concept to success!
