LOGISTICS, SETUP & DISMANTLE
Global events have logistical challenges as well as opportunities. The main objective was to manage the challenges with knowledgeable local teams while leveraging the expertise collected about client’s preferences from venue to venue.
In some locations, the setup timing had to be very elastic to prior and subsequent events. For example, in Singapore, part of the room had to be cleared before a dinner at the same location. The rest of the dismantling had to be done after the dinner (while the trucks and teams went to another location for support).
Globibo’s experienced team, and prior knowledge about the exquisite venues, arranged and managed the intricate setup, including booths, consoles, and receivers, at all 5 venues: Shangri-La Hotels, Singapore, Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin, 853 Park Avenue New York, Beverly Hillshire Los Angeles and Marriott Taipei.
Globibo provided event tech solution to a prominent insurance company across Singapore, Berlin, New York, Los Angeles, and Taipei. Our customer hosts various global events, aiming to build expertise and strengthen relationships. This structured engagement optimizes service quality and reduces communication efforts for seamless event planning and execution worldwide.
Improve participant experience & reduce operational risk with multi-event setup
Our customer organizes an array of events around the world with similar objectives and target groups. The structure of this engagement is to leverage each event to accumulate subject-matter expertise and deepen relationships to constantly enhance our service quality services while reducing communication efforts to plan and execute the series of events. The latest destinations were Singapore, Berlin and New York, Los Angeles, and Taipei.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
The setup of the events was targeted to leverage the expertise of the onsite / planning team for the upcoming sessions in other locations. A similar setup was required in each location, but local adaptations were necessary to accommodate the venue and participants.

CONFERENCE INTERPRETATION TERMINOLOGY MANAGEMENT
For each event, it was critical that:
- a) the technical setup was thorough and punctual
- b) the translation remained consistent throughout all locations
- c) the energy in the room be relayed into all languages made available by the onsite interpreters
Our team of interpreters identified campaign- and organization-specific terms and segments and pre-translated them into mindmaps. Those mindmaps were distributed to all local Conference Interpreters and fine-tuned after each event.
The sophistication in regards to terminology management has significantly increased over the past years and the team balanced the usability as well as the granularity of the terms.
Globibo’s Simultaneous Interpretation equipment and skilled interpreters facilitated real-time language conversion, clear understanding, and engagement among participants. This comprehensive service demonstrates our dedication to overcoming language barriers and improving communication for diverse audiences.
