Global Cross-Cultural elearning Communication Training Program

Global Cross-Cultural Communication Training Program
A program was designed to support staff and managers worldwide in developing specific skills to strengthen communication with key stakeholders. The program was structured into a general module and region-specific modules. The general module aimed to create awareness and sensitivity about cross-cultural differences, as a foundation for all participants. Participants would then focus on regional-specific programs tailored to their particular demographics.

The General Cross-Cultural Training (CCT) module covered broad principles of cross-cultural communication, emphasizing the importance of understanding and respecting cultural differences. After completing the general module, participants delved into regional-specific content designed to address the unique cultural nuances and business practices of their target regions.

The regional modules of cross-cultural training  included:

  1. China: Focusing on Chinese cultural norms, business etiquette, and effective communication strategies.
  2. ASEAN: This module focused on Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and Myanmar and highlighted regional variations and key cultural considerations.
  3. Africa: This module concentrated on South Africa, Algeria, and Morocco and covered the diverse cultural landscapes and business environments within these countries.
  4. LATAM: Targeting Brazil, Colombia, Chile, and Jamaica, this module addressed the cultural and business practices prevalent in these Latin American countries.
  5. India: Focusing on the Indian cultural context and effective communication strategies within the Indian business environment.
  6. CISR: This module emphasized Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Romania and provided insights into their cultural and business dynamics.

The content for the general and regional modules was based on the content and design templates available at Globibo, ensuring a standardized yet regionally customized approach to cross-cultural training.
