CHALLENGES

Very tight budget, inhouse AV equipment insatiable and suboptimal light conditions.

Globibo supported a semi-government communication agency in evening conference (3 hours) with several bi-lingual local & remote speakers.
The objective was to provide smooth presentations and interpreting in a somewhat constrained setup and environment.

Globibo stepped in to support the event production when the initial production house became unavailable. Despite the unexpected change, they quickly adapted to the situation, conducting a site inspection and devising a plan to work within the constraints of the in-house technical equipment and the limited budget.

After detailed planning, absolutely critical elements like audio and video operations for local/remote participants and Language Interpretation were prioritized. On the other hand, compromises had to be made, such as lighting and video switching.

Several elements had to be added on-site to remediate misunderstandings between the conference organizer and sponsors.

MANAGEMENT OF CHALLENGES

Budget: The project was planned just one week before the actual event. The budget had been set arbitrarily without understanding the venue requirements. Globibo had to work on the project more or less at a cost to ensure the proper experience was created for the Client.

Lighting: Considering the in-house light system was not to be used, managing the light conditions took a lot of work. Additional fixtures were installed at the venue, but cameras still needed to work with high gains to keep the presenters bright.
