Full Conference Production for Specialized Medical Event with AV and AI Translation in Hong Kong & Thailand

A medical organization hosted two knowledge-driven programs in the APAC region – one in Hong Kong in January, and another in Bangkok in March – each one 2 days. Both events brought together healthcare professionals for focused discussions and clinical knowledge exchange. The organizer required full AVL production and accurate real-time interpretation in English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Thai to support detailed medical conversations.

The setup combined AI capabilities with a structured on-site AV environment, including microphones, speakers, cameras, and video distribution systems to support clear communication. In one location, the entire equipment had to be provided, while in another, some technology was provided by the venue. To address the language channel, Globibo deployed Events.Studio – AI Interpreting platform, delivering AI-driven captions and audio interpretation throughout the sessions. 

Given the technical depth of the workshop, the AI platform leveraged a specialized Medical Model to process live speech with high accuracy. Complex clinical terminology and nuanced discussions were captured and translated effectively, allowing participants to follow in their preferred language. The quality of transcripts and audio interpretation met the expectations of medical professionals, reinforcing confidence in using AI for specialized healthcare environments, supported by a well-coordinated AV and production setup.
